Indeed there are worse words, and of course I use "Crap" all the time. I was just amused that there's a board game called "Fact or Crap" sitting on the shelves at Toys R Us for the world's beginning readers to see. The game is for ages 12 and up. I'm pretty sure that at 12 I was still getting the hairy eyeball from the parentals for using words like "Crap."
Since I have a 12 year old I will say that yes she gets the hairy eye ball if she says crap and though there are worse words this is still considered a cuss word in our house (even though yes J and I use it at times)....Plus there are other games out there that I'm sure have the same pretense but use other words...Plus there are way cooler games to play as well...Like Settlers of Catan and WOW...
Because nothing says charming and intelligent like a 12-year-old whose conversation is peppered with the word "Crap!"
