Any Guesses?

I have an appointment with the doctor on Wednesday for my fetal assessment. In many cases, the ultrasound tech can determine the gender of the baby at this stage of gestation. I'd love to know, but I'm also preparing myself for the possibility that Baby Zazzy is not going to be very forthcoming. This wasn't an issue with Joshua. At my 12-week ultrasound we got a very clear picture of his boy parts, so at the 20-week fetal assessment the only question we had was, "Still a boy, right?" However, I would prefer that I not be in the same situation as Anna.

So, any guesses?

I can provide any pertinent information on an "as needed" basis.

Update: To help some, I have added some photos. The first two are from my pregnancy with Joshua. The first was taken at 16 weeks and the second was taken at 25 weeks.

During my first trimester I couldn't handle anything sweet. Now I want anything sweet. Joshua and I go through one of those big bags of clementines every week. Other than that, no cravings.

I'm chuckling at the pictures. Interesting the difference in the way the body responds to baby #2, huh? (All the parts already know they are going to pop out, so out they go...)
and I don't buy a SINGLE of the wives' tales regarding predicting gender, or I would *not* have 2 boys. ;)

Those pictures are hilarious -- only because I am exactly the same way. I was barely wearing maternity clothes with Drew at this point. But, this time around, the belly has popped and my rib cage has expanded already.

I'm going to vote that it is a girl, too.

Not that it matters a hill of beans but where have you gained the weight mostly at this point? Belly, thighs, boobs, butt? Also morning sickness compared to Joshua? Since you weren't trying I'm going to say at this point most likely a girl. But I'm still interested in the above questions and really just want you to have a girl so I can buy her ever frilly dress I ever looked at for Abigail. Not to mention to lend you my precsious pink rose boppy cover.

My belly's definitely gained the most, followed closely by the girls.

With Joshua, you could set a clock by my sickness. Every night at 9:00 I was hugging the commode. This time I was sick, too, but at unpredictable times. The duration was about the same for both: started around 7 weeks and ended for good around 14.

Well, as I am in a contrary mood this morning, I'm going to guess that you're having a boy. Everyone else is saying girl and after my experiences with old wives'tales, I don't trust them at all.

This is SOOOO exciting! I'm going to say girl - definitely! (I was convinced I'd seen boy bits on Isabel's scan - how wrong one can be!!)
